We're hearing about life changing journeys from both young people and volunteers in the Midnight Basketball program. Looking forward to running a workshop tomorrow night to learn more from those involved and explore what is possible for the future.
For anyone involved in the program please tell us what you think here. According to documentation recognised by Indonesian officials, Mbah Gotho is 145 and was born on 31st December 1870. He has outlived all 10 of his siblings, four wives and all of his children. He is survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
When asked what his secret to longevity is, Mbah Gotho replied: 'the recipe is just patience.' Community Consultation is an opportunity to understand the aspirations and life experiences of the communities you work with.
Learn how to do it on May 10 2016 at the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare. Places are limited. What do you think is important to young people in the future? How can a space specifically for young people help?
